Job Description:
Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops and executes test plans. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
Reporting Relationships:
Position reports to the: System/Engineering tests TL.
Responsibilities:
· Testing the products, reporting errors and confirming that the errors/ bugs were fixed successfully.
· Managing interfaces with R&D like reporting of problem to R&D teams and close it with new load receive.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· BSc Electronics / Computer sciences
· Knowledge in testing methodology.
· Knowledge in Networking and protocols like TCT/IP, TFTP, SNMP.
· 2-3 years experience in validation testing of communication systems.
· Best knowledge at switches / routers
· Experience with testing tools includes traffic generators & analyzes, Communication tools. (IXIA, ADTECK, SMARTBIT, ANT, ANRITSU, SNIFFERs...)
· Knowledge in data communication, Layer 2-4 protocols, Ethernet. VLAN, IP, RSVP, OSPF. SNMP,MPLS - an advantage
· Experience in writing test plan out of system document - an advantage.
